72 Year Old Drinking Driver Caught In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – An anonymous traffic complaint led to a three day suspension being served on a driver this past weekend in Goderich. At approximately 9:45 p.m. on September 6, 2015 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about a possible impaired driver that stumbled into his van and drove away. Officers began patrolling for the suspect vehicle, a Pontiac Montana mini-van and within a few minutes it was located on Strang Court in Goderich.

An officer spoke with the driver and noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was conducted and the driver registered a warn range reading. The 72- year-old driver from Goderich was served with a three day warn range suspension.
