7 Bee Hives Stolen

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a theft of seven beehives stolen from a Lanesville Line bee farm. It is believed the beehives were likely stolen at night when the bees are less active. Considering the dangers of moving active beehives it is suspected those responsible may work as beekeepers (apiarists). Each beehive contains three boxes. The total value of the beehives stolen is $2100.
