(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On October 10, 2015, just after 3:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 40 and River Line.
The collision occurred when a motorcycle, which was stopped on Highway 40 southbound, waiting to make a left turn onto River Line, was struck from the rear by a southbound Buick car.
The male driver and female passenger of the motorcycle, both from London, were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 68 year old male driver of the Buick, Jacob LOEPPKY, from Hensall, ON, has been charged with Careless Driving. He did not report any injuries.
