68 Year Old Driver Caught With Open Alcohol

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at approximately 3:18 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2008 Toyota vehicle on Sydenham Street, Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands and found that the driver had an open can of beer within reach.

68-year old Ronald FISK, of Brockton, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for driving a motor vehicle with an unsealed container of liquor under the Liquor Licence Act.

Grey County OPP remind motorists that it is an offence to operate, or have care and control of a motor vehicle, motorized snow vehicle, or boat with open liquor and urge citizens to contact police if they suspect someone of drinking and driving.
