$67,000 In Farm Machinery Stolen From Listowel Area

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Tuesday November 03, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Premier Farm Equipment located along Hwy 23 North of Listowel, where company employees discovered the theft of equipment.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 7 p.m. on Monday November 02, 2015 and 7 a.m. on Tuesday November 03, 2015 two new John Deere Tractors and a large covered trailer were stolen from the dealership property. The two compact John Deere tractors were both fitted with a front bucket and a rear backhoe. The tractors were most likely loaded into the trailer allowing one heavy duty vehicle to drive off with all the stolen equipment.

Description of stolen property:

– Green 2015 John Deere tractor, model 1025R

– Green 2016 John Deere tractor, model 1025R

– White 2016 Carmate car trailer 8.5’x24’, with large “Premier Equipment” and “John Deere” decals on the side.

The combined value of the stolen property is approximately $67,000
