(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On January 28, 2018 at approximately 9:49 a.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) for travelling at a high rate of speed southbound on the Grey-Bruce Line near Sideroad 3 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
66-year old Dennis ZETTLER, of Tobermory, was issued a Part III Summons for racing – speeding more than 50 km/hr over the posted 80 km/hr speed limit under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) and for failing to produce valid insurance card under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act (CAIA).
He was given a 7-day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on March 5, 2018.
