(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On November 13, 2015, just before 5:00 p.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Mazda 3 on Highway 401 westbound near Harwich Road. The vehicle was initially subject of a traffic complaint, and subsequently stopped by the officer for a speeding violation.
While the officer was speaking with the driver, 61-year-old Terry MOORE, from Chatham, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and he will appear in a Chatham court on December 18, 2015, to answer to the charges of Driving With More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol In Blood and Speeding.
