(KENORA, ON) – The Government of the Province of Ontario is offering a reward in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of Richard (Rick) ROACH, age 60 years.
On the night of February 7, 2015 Richard Anthony ROACH’s body was located on the side of Apache Road in the Township of Sioux Narrows/Nestor Falls, Kenora District, Ontario. Mr. ROACH was last seen earlier that evening at a party at a nearby residence.
This investigation is being led by Detective Inspector Randy Heida of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch who states “Investigators believe strongly that the key to solving this incident rests within the community and are encouraging anyone with information regarding the person or persons responsible for the death of Richard ROACH to immediately contact the Director of the Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Services at 1-888-310-1122 or (705)-329-6111, or their nearest police authority”. This reward will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services for the Province of Ontario and the Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police.
