(TWEED, ON) – On December 18, 2015, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) – Drug Enforcement Unit, the Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and members of Central Hastings OPP detachment executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant this afternoon at a residence in the municipality of Tweed.
As a result, a quantity of marihuana, cocaine, psilocybin and oxycodone were seized with an approximate street value of $2,500.
Five people were arrested including 2 females, ages 18 and 20, 2 males, ages 19 and 22 and 1 male young person/. All were released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville in February 2016.
The names of the adults are not being released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act as it may identify the name of the young person.
