(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Monday, December 22, 2014 at approximately 8:10 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence on Grey Rd. 4 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands after receiving a report of a boy who had been run over by a skid steer.
The 4 year old victim was skating on a small frozen pond on his property with other family members when the mishap occurred.
The skid steer, which was being used to light up the area, was inadvertently put into motion when the victim’s younger brother crawled inside the vehicle.
The victim was transported via land ambulance to hospital in London with non-life threatening injuries.
