(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Friday, June 26, 2015 at approximately 1:40 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped the driver of a motor vehicle, a 2006 Mazda 3, for speeding 102km/hr in a posted 50 km/hr zone on Hwy. 10 through the village of Berkeley in the Township of Chatsworth.
Manish THAPAR, 35, of Markham, Ontario was issued a Part III Summons for the offence – Race a Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Monday, July 13, 2015.
