(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 31, 2015 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit began an investigation after the owner of the Pioneer Gas Station on Highway 6 in Guelph-Eramosa Township reported that a fraudulent transaction involving the purchase of a gas station occurred. The believed loss to the current owner was reportedly in the $3 million range.
Alexandr SHCOLYAR age 55 of Richmond Hill was arrested and charged on July 1st, 2015 with Utter a Forged Document and Fraud Over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 7, 2015.
