$30,000 In Heavy Equipment Stolen

(Havelock Belmont Methuen Twp., ON) Between the dated of July 31 and August 14 2013, unknown suspect(s) attended a construction site on Highway 7 at County Road 31 and stole a Power Generator.

Peterborough County OPP were called to the Miwel Construction Site at the location and advised that a large Tower Light Generator, and two concrete saws had been stolen form the site in the proceeding weeks.

The generator had not been in use and its loss was not immediately noticed. The stolen equipment is a described as a “Magna” brand generator; it has mounted lights on a 30 foot metal tower and is mounted on a wheeled platform.

The value of the stolen property is approximately $30,000.
