(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldmand County Detachment is investigating acts of mischief at a Sandusk Road, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, July 23, 2016 at approximately 7:33 p.m., police were contacted by an employee of a solar farm reporting mischief to several solar panels.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at approximately 7:15 p.m., unknowns attended the address and proceeded to throw objects at approximately nine (9) solar panels located on the property resulting in extensive damage.
The damage is estimated at approximately $30,000 dollars.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
