3 Injured In Rollover Collision – 19 Year Old Charged

(PETROLIA, ON) – On Thursday October 29th, 2015 at approximately 5:10 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a 911 call advising of a single motor vehicle roll-over collision in the area of 402 Highway westbound and Oil Heritage Road, Town of Plympton-Wyoming.

Lambton County OPP along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department responded. Upon arrival, OPP was informed that the vehicle was initially westbound on 402 Highway when it suddenly swerved and left the roadway. The motor vehicle then impacted a guard rail and rolled several times before coming to rest, on the driver side of the vehicle, in the driving lane of 402 Highway westbound. The three occupants of the vehicle were able to exit the pick-up truck prior to emergency services arrival but were all transported to hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of this investigation, 19 year-old Lenny John DEPATER of Brooke – Alvinston Township, On was issued a Provincial Offences Notice and charged with

Careless Driving

402 Highway was temporarily closed in the collision area to allow for the removal of the motor vehicle.
