Barrie Police officer was on routine duty and observed a motor vehicle driving in a suspicous matter on Tiffin St. The vehicle in question was pulled over and the officer observed a strong odour of alcohol on the 22 yr old Midhurt male’s breath. The male was administered a roadside screening device test. The male fail and was transported to the station to provided two breath tests. The male’s results were twice the legal limit. The male was released once sober on a promise to appear for over 80 with a court date in October.
