(Ottawa, ON) – July 1, 2015, The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ottawa Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 417 westbound near the Kent Street overpass.
Officers were called to the scene at approximately 10:50 pm.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. The victim has been identified as 22 year old Tyler Anthony Pellerin-Gagnon of North Dundas Township.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
