(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Highway 6, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, February 19, 2016 at approximately 9:23 a.m., the OPP responded to Highway 6 for a collision involving two (2) motor vehicles.
Through the course of investigation it has been determined that a white coloured vehicle was being operated by a 54-year-old female of Brant County, Ontario and was travelling southbound on Highway 6. The vehicle was stopped and was waiting to turn into a business when it was struck from behind by a grey coloured motor vehicle being operated by a 21-year-old male of Welland, Ontario.
No serious injuries were reported.
As a result of investigation, police charged 21-year-old Joshua DAOUST of Welland, Ontario with careless driving and driving while under suspension.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
