(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and investigators from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) continue to investigate an early morning car crash that resulted in the death of a local Huron County male.
Just before 8:00 a.m. Huron County OPP officers and Huron County EMS responded to the scene of a single motor vehicle crash located on Benmiller Line between Huron Road and Londesboro Road.
The preliminary investigation has determined the driver a Honda Civic was travelling northbound on Benmiller Line when his vehicle entered a curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled and ended up on its’ side in the east ditch.
The single male occupant died at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Zachary LAMB from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
Benmiller Line is now open for travel.
