2008 John Deere 7430 Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen tractor from a New Lakeshore Road, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Sunday, August 23, 2015 at approximately 9:13 a.m., police received a report of a theft involving a tractor.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the address on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the early morning hours and entered an unlocked tractor with the keys in the ignition. Once inside, unknowns were able to start the tractor which was then used to enter a sea container located on the property.

Unknowns then entered fuel tanks and filled the tractor with fuel and left the area in an unknown direction.

The tractor is described as a green coloured, 2008 John Deere 7430.

The theft is estimated at approximately $80,000 dollars.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
