2008 John Deere 7230 Tractor Stolen

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from an Orkney Street West, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, August 20, 2015 at approximately 3:21 p.m., police received a report of a theft involving a tractor.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the Nestle Purina Plant on Wednesday, August 19, at approximately 9:51 p.m., and removed a tractor that was parked at the rear of the property.

The theft was captured on video surveillance and police are reviewing security footage in an attempt to identify those responsible.

The tractor is described as a green coloured, 2008 John Deere 7230 that had a modified front end loader containing a train knuckle.

The theft is estimated at approximately $25,000 dollars.
