(Marmora, ON) – On October 2, 2013 just before 11 a.m. members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit, OPP Aviation Services and Central Hastings OPP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a Lajoie Road residence in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.
Investigators located over 2700 marihuana plants with an estimated street value of $2 700 000. As a result 20 year old Francois BOILY of Kitchener, ON and 21 year old Noah DEAN of Kitchener, ON were arrested and charged with Production of a Controlled Substance (Marihuana) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marihuana). They will appear in Belleville Provincial Court on October 31, 2013.
