(Ottawa, ON) – On March 25, 2015, The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Highway Safety Division (HSD) members were conducting an enforcement initiative on the Castlefrank eastbound onramp to Highway 417.
At approximately 4:15 pm, an officer heard a vehicle with a loud exhaust enter onto the onramp. The officer subsequently stopped the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, the officer located a quantity of Cocaine and MDNA (most commonly known as “Ecstasy”).
The male driver, 19 year old Jasdeep Singh Grewal of Ottawa was charged with:
Traffick Schedule I substance – Cocaine;
Traffick Schedule III substance –MDNA; and
Improper Muffler.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Ottawa on May 12, 2015.
