(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 19 year old male driver from the Wroxeter area was stopped yesterday (26Mar) afternoon for driving in excess of double the 90 km/h speed limit. At approximately 1:37 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a Chevrolet Cobalt travelling eastbound on Amberley Road at an extremely high rate of speed. The officer used a RADAR device to confirm his observations and was able to measure the vehicle’s speed in excess of double the 90 km/h speed limit.
The young driver was served with an automatic seven day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was seized for seven days. Corbin DUNN, 19, from R1 Wroxeter has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He has a scheduled court appearance for April 21, 2015 at Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich.
