19 Year Old Airlifted To Hospital After Collision

On December 9th, 2015 at approximately 1:50 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on Nafziger Road near Gerber Road in Wellesley Township. A 2005 GMC van driven by a 29 year old Guelph man was southbound on Nafziger road attempting to turn left into a parking lot. A 1996 Honda driven by a 20 year old Wellesley Township woman attempted to pass the van. The Honda clipped the front of the van and lost control and crossed the center line. The Honda was hit on the passenger side by a northbound Orange Jeep driven by a 59 year old Stratford male. As a result of the collision, a 19 year old Wellesley Township male passenger in the Honda was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries. A 60 year old Stratford woman who was a passenger in the Jeep was taken to Stratford General Hospital also with serious injuries. Four other people involved in the collision suffered minor injuries.
