(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) On Friday June 28, 2013 at approximately 11:28pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officers had observed a Dodge Pickup Truck driving in an aggressive manner on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Town line in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Police stopped the vehicle and during the investigation, the odour of marihuana was detected.
Harrison Smith age 19 of Kitchener is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is also charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 16, 2013 to answer to the charge.
