(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a single motor vehicle collision that took place yesterday afternoon on Bayfield Road (County #13) west of Whys Line.
At approximately 4:46 p.m. Huron OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and Bayfield Fire Department responded to the crash scene to locate a heavily damaged Ford F-150 pickup truck laying on its side in the north ditch. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
The 18-year-old male driver from Central Huron sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed while OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene to assist with the collision investigation. The crash remains under investigation.
