(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a serious motor vehicle collision at a Colonel Talbot Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, May 12, 2016 at approximately 3:36 a.m., OPP, Norfolk County Fire Services and Paramedics attended a Colonel Talbot Road address for a single motor vehicle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a blue Pontiac motor vehicle being operated by an 18-year-old male of Norfolk County, Ontario was travelling westbound on Colonel Talbot Road when the driver lost control entering the eastbound lanes leaving the roadway colliding with several trees.
As a result of the collision, the driver suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital where he was then air lifted to a London area hospital for further treatment.
The investigation is continuing.
