(SUDBURY, ON) – On October 28, 2015 at 2:46 p.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle fatal collision on Highway 17 at the intersection of Southview Drive, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
Investigation revealed that a northbound Chevrolet Cavalier entered the intersection from Southview Drive and was struck by a GMC pick-up truck travelling westbound on Highway 17.
Kodee Anne DAOUST, 17 years of age, from Sudbury, a passenger in the Chevrolet Cavalier, died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators.
