(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – On October 27, 2012 at 1:48 a.m. Huron OPP officers observed a grey Ford pickup travelling southbound on Brussels Line near Browntown Road. The officers noted the vehicle did not have an attached rear licence plate. Upon stopping the vehicle officers spoke with the young male driver and noted he had been drinking alcohol.
He failed a roadside test and later provided two samples of his breath to a qualified intoxilizer technician. Both tests were over the legal limit.
A 17 year old male from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Youth Justice Court – Goderich on November 15, 2012. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
