(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an incident after being called to a Windham East Quarter Line Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, July 16, 2015 at approximately 9:06 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned motorist after observing a suspicious vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway.
Through investigation it was determined that the driver of a grey coloured Jeep Liberty was stopped at the side of the roadway and is suspected of abandoning approximately 17 kittens.
A passing motorist was able to provide police with a licence plate number and description of the vehicle.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
