(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Yesterday, September 15, 2016 at approximately 2:30pm officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist with a student that was causing a disturbance at Fenelon Falls Secondary School.
The 16 year old male student was disturbing classes by yelling. Upon police arrival he had left the school property and was located and arrested a short time later. The youth is charged with Uttering Threats (two counts) contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and Causing a Disturbance contrary to section 175(1)(a) CCC.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Youth Division on October 18, 2016.
