(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident at a Talbot Road, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at approximately 10:21 a.m., officers responded to a collision involving two (2) vehicles.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that a blue coloured vehicle was travelling westbound on Highway 59 when it collided with a green coloured vehicle that was attempting to head southbound on Talbot Road.
The driver of the blue vehicle, a 30 year-old female of Norfolk County, was taken to a local are hospital by ambulance to be treated for minor injuries. The driver of the green vehicle, a 16-year-old male and a 2-year-old female passenger, both of Norfolk County, were also taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
As a result, police charged a 16-year-old male with fail to yield to traffic on through highway, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He was subsequently issued Provincial Offence Notice.
