(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Friday, August 9, 2013, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft of fuel report from the Home Hardware store located on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
As a result of an ongoing investigation, it was determined that an employee of Home Hardware had been using the company fuel card to purchase fuel and diesel for personal use. The unauthorized use of the fuel card began in March 2012. Up to $14,000 of fuel was purchased since that time.
David CEASER, 59, of Georgian Bluffs is charged with fraud over $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on September 26, 2013.
