On October 22, 2013 at 6:10 p.m., the Guelph Police began investigating a robbery complaint. The victim, a 14-year-old Guelph male alleges that at approximately 5:30 p.m., he attended to Exhibition Park where he met with a female friend as well as two other females and a male that he did not know.
While with them, the male pushed him and threatened to harm him if he did not turn over his sweater and cell phone. He turned over his belongings and the unknown male left the area with the females. The youth returned home and police were contacted. Police investigation was able to identify and locate the suspect male and he was arrested.
A 14-year-old Guelph male has been charged with robbery. He will appear in court on December 4, 2013.
