137 KPH in a 50 KPH ZONE??

(South Huron, ON) While conducting radar patrols on May 16th at approximately 9:00 pm in Dashwood, a Huron OPP officer observed a vehicle driving through the small hamlet at high rate of speed. The speed was confirmed by the radar unit to be 137 kph – 87 kph above the posted speed limit!! The vehicle was stopped, the driver was charged with Racing, the vehicle was then impounded for 7 days and the driver’s licence was suspended for 7 days.
