(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to attend the 100 block of Ellison Avenue in Leamington, also known as Cardinal Carter Secondary School on September 16, 2015 for a report of an assault that had taken place earlier in the day.
Investigation revealed that a thirteen year old Leamington male had assaulted another thirteen year old Leamington male with a pencil earlier in the day after a verbal altercation. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require medical assistance.
The suspect was charged with Assault with a Weapon and will appear in a Leamington court at a later date.
