Krystle DICKSON Arrested Again

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A resident of London is facing an Impaired Operation charge and a Drug Possession charge following a traffic stop that took place in Exeter a few weeks ago.

On August 25, 2022 at approximately 11:44 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a gas station on Main Street North in Exeter to check on a possible impaired driver.

Upon arrival officers located the driver sitting in her vehicle parked in the parking lot. Upon speaking with the driver the investigating officer noted the driver was displaying signs of impairment through a drug. A Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) was completed and the driver performed poorly. The accused was promptly arrested for Impaired Operation and was transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for additional testing. A search incident to arrest also revealed the driver to be in possession of suspected cocaine.

A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) completed a series of tests on the driver and it was determined the driver was indeed impaired by a drug. Further administrative checks revealed the driver was failing to comply with conditions of her probation order.

Krystle DICKSON, 37 years of age from London has been charged with Operation While Impaired, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, Failure to Comply with Demand and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 31, 2022 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
