(PERTH EAST, ON) – On March 28, 2022 just before 6:30 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Perth County Paramedic Services, and the Perth East Fire Department, responded to a fatal two vehicle motor vehicle collision at Perth Line 34 (Highway 8), between Road 102 and Road 104, in the Township of Perth East.
One person was pronounced deceased as a result.
The investigation is ongoing, and members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are assisting Perth County OPP with the investigation.
The areas surrounding Perth County Line 34 (Highway 8) remains closed for the protection of emergency responders and to facilitate the investigation, and will likely be closed for a number of hours.
