Deborah HUXTED – Impaired Driving

(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – A Kitchener resident has been charged with impaired driving after Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision.  

On July 16, 2022, just before 11:00 a.m.., officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 86 in Perth County.  

Through the course of the investigation, the officer had reason to believe the driver was impaired. The driver and two passengers were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

As a result, Deborah HUXTED, 58, of Kitchener, has been charged with:

–      Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
