Area Victims Standing-Up For Themselves – Reports Of Abuse Soaring #YouAreNotAlone #ThereIsHelp&Hope

(GODERICH, ON) – On September 20th, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of an intimate partner dispute incident in the Town of Goderich.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had failed to comply with a release order in relation to a condition involving communication with their partner.

A 33-year-old individual from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts).

The accused was later arrested and held for a bail hearing in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.

(HURON EAST, ON) – On September 22nd, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of an intimate partner dispute incident in the Municipality of Huron East.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had committed mischief by damaging property at their partner’s residence.

A 28-year-old individual from Huron East has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

–      Mischief – Domestic,

–      Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The accused was later arrested, processed, and released with a court date in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.

(HURON EAST, ON) – On September 23rd, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of a disturbance incident in the Municipality of Huron East.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had committed criminal offences involving their partner.

A 25-year-old individual from North Perth has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

–      Assault – Spousal,

–      Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts).

The accused was arrested and held for a bail hearing in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.

(BLUEWATER, ON) – On September 26th, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of an intimate partner dispute incident in the Municipality of Bluewater.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had committed mischief by damaging property at a seasonal family residence.

A 49-year-old individual from Woodstock has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

–      Mischief – Domestic.

The accused was later arrested, processed, and released with a court date of November 6th at the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.

(HURON EAST, ON) – On September 26th, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of a disturbance incident in the Municipality of Huron East.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had committed criminal offences involving their partner on various occasions in 2023.

A 38-year-old individual from Huron East has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

–      Sexual Assault,

–      Assault – Spousal,

–      Assault with a Weapon – Spousal,

–      Robbery with Intent,

–      Mischief Under $5,000,

–      Failure to Comply with Probation Order.

The accused was arrested and held for a bail hearing in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice where they were remanded into custody.

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On September 28th, 2023, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted for a report of an intimate partner incident in the Municipality of Central Huron.

As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had failed to comply with a release order in relation to a condition involving communication with their partner.

A 51-year-old individual from Stoney Creek has been charged under the Criminal Code with: Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts).

The accused was later arrested and held for a bail hearing in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice where they were remanded into custody.
