44 Pigs Stolen

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance of the public in connection with a recent theft of pigs.

This week officers were contacted by a farmer that reported 44 pigs were stolen from his barn located on North Line. 

It was determined that sometime between March 1, 2022 and June 21, 2022 unknown persons attended the barn and stole 44 pigs. The pigs would have weighed anywhere between 60 to 200 pounds. The estimated value of the stolen pigs is $12,000.

Huron County OPP is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation and if anyone has information they are asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
