A 27 YEAR OLD Owen Sound male was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after witnesses observed him kicking and hitting a family dog. The dog did not appear to suffer any serious injuries. The male was released from custody and will appear in court on April 18, 2019 to answer to the charge.
