Pharmacist Facing Drug Trafficking Charge

(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington, Ontario has arrested and charged an area pharmacist and another man in relation to the illegal sale of narcotics as defined by the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

On December 17, 2016 pharmacist Russell FOSTER, age 74 of Lakeshore, Ontario and a 48 year old Leamington, Ontario man were arrested by OPP members on Talbot Street East in Leamington.

FOSTER will appear in a Leamington, Ontario courtroom on January 9, 2017 to answer to charges of:

Trafficking in a Schedule 1 Substance

Trafficking in a Schedule 4 Substance

The investigation is ongoing.
