(EAST ZORRA – TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a two-vehicle fatal collision in East Zorra – Tavistock Township.
On January 20, 2017 at approximately 8:03 a.m. OPP were called to the collision on Highway 59, at Maplewood Sideroad. The collision occurred between a black sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a silver SUV. There were no witnesses to the collision, and it was discovered by motorists who stopped to render assistance.
As a result of the collision, the lone female driver of the black SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The lone male driver of the silver SUV was transported by land ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased female driver has been identified as: Stephanie MAY, 28-years-of-age, of East Zorra-Tavistock Township.
The collision remains under investigation.
