(TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH, ON) – On May 5, 2017 at approximately 8:40 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver at 292 Brock Rd South, Township of Puslinch.
Police attended and located the motor vehicle and found the driver asleep in the driver’s seat. Police woke the driver and while speaking with him believed he may be impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP detachment for testing.
32-year-old Braien SUBRAMANIAM of Milton has been charged with Impaired Driving, Care or Control While Ability Impaired and Refuse to Provide a Sample contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 2, 2017. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
