(PERTH SOUTH, ON) – On Tuesday June 20, 2017 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of the theft of a two bicycles from rural residence on Line 29 in the Township of Perth South.
Investigation revealed that two bicycles for children with special needs had been stolen from an unlocked shed at the residence. This had occurred between 9:00 p.m. on Monday June 19, 2017 and 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday June 20, 2017. An eight foot long yellow trolley type wagon was left behind by the suspect(s) at the scene of this theft that did not belong to the residence.
On Friday June 30, 2017 a search warrant was executed in the Township of Perth East and one of the bicycles was recovered. This item has been returned to the owners.
The outstanding bicycle is orange BERG GranTour. It has four wheels and four plastic seats and it is steered from the back seats. The value of this bike is 3,495 dollars.
