(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On January 28, 2018 at approximately 12:02 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a passenger vehicle on Sunny Valley Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs after it was observed being driven erratically.
The vehicle had two different licence plates attached. After investigating further, the rear plate had been reported stolen from Owen Sound earlier this month and the front plate was determined missing from the Hanover area.
The lone driver of the vehicle, 47-year old Edward Scott ANLEY, of Owen Sound, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. He was also issued a Part III Summons for driving a motor vehicle with no insurance and operating a motor vehicle with unauthorized plates.
He is scheduled to attend court in Owen Sound on March 8, 2018.
