(ORILLIA, ON) – Last evening, at 5:49PM, officers from the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a robbery at the Guardian Pharmacy located at 45 River Street in the Village of Coldwater.
Upon arrival at the scene, police were able to determine that two males entered the pharmacy approached the pharmacy counter where a demand for pharmaceuticals was made.
The suspects then fled the pharmacy into an awaiting tan or brown coloured sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was being operated by a third male.
The suspects who committed the robbery are described as:
Suspect 1:
Male white, late teen or early 20’s, wearing a gray hoodie, sagging blue jeans, with a white scarf across his face
Suspect 2:
Male white, late teens or early 20’s, tan coloured jacket with hoodie and possibly wearing a red scarf
Suspect 3:
Unknown descriptors other than scruffy beard, driving tan or brown coloured SUV.
Police would like to speak to anyone who has seen a vehicle similar to the one described that may have been parked or abandoned along a roadway prior to or after this robbery.
