CRAM-A-CRUISER: HELPING OUR LOCAL FOOD BANK

(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – The West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will have Police Cruisers located at the entrance of Wal-Mart and Sobey’s on Saturday November 30, 2013 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Cram-a-Cruiser.

Cram-a-Cruiser is an initiative to assist the Salvation Army’s Emergency Food Bank. The food donations received during the Cram-a-Cruiser will help feed the community throughout the year.

The Emergency Food Bank is in urgent need of the following items:

– Canned vegetables

– Stews

– Soups

– Tuna or salmon

– Peanut butter

– Pasta

– Crackers

– Cookies

– Cereal and oatmeal

– Pancake mix and syrup

– Healthy nut-free snacks

– Canned or dried fruit

– Coffee and tea

The OPP wishes to fill the cruisers with non-perishable food with the community’s help. Together, we can make a difference!
